I was born in 1957 in the northern industrial town of Rotherham, Yorkshire. Having an older brother Michael, and two sisters Jenice and Louise, also older than myself, i was at the bottom of the pecking order when it came to spice time, (Yorkshire term for sweets) the saving grace was that i was blessed with a younger brother, Hugh. Poor little bugger got all the small portions of grub when my sisters were looking after us while our parents were busy earning brass to feed the nest. To cut a long story short, i left home to join the Army in 1972. Got married had three children got divorced, got married again to an absolute angel called Clare Nicola. We live together with her children in the Suffolk market town of Sudbury. Here is where this blog and other blogs will be centred, around my love for veg growing. As i am a new blogger, i hope that you can enjoy my life around my plot, if i am able to get the photos on this chuffing old computer. My hobbies are fishing, wine making, veg growing and following my favourite football team, Sheffield United.
